Fishman Creature (Work in progress)

(DISCLAIMER: This is a work in progress, and as a hobby/inspiration design, I don't focus on speed or game compatibility)
I got excited about tabletop games and 3D printing, so I wanted to model an interesting creature that'll be entirely printable, and revisit several techniques.
With this project I'll be taking my time to slowly go through everything and learn by using tools and techniques, aswell as designing an entire creature in detail, as if it existed in real life (who knows...)
So no rapid sculpting, but rather an iterative design process in which I redo things constantly until I achieve exactly what I had in mind.

Flagging my project as mature content just to make sure I don't scare anyone to death

First, I wanted to get a face that is both interesting and simple, so I can add to it with details later

Here's some of the details I talked about in the last image, different tongues for different models, as well as a headpiece which may see further iterations

The face needed something extra, so I built the rest of the head in a way I believe compliments the face nicely - this part is also interchangeable.

I wasn't just going to make a head, it was going to be a full character, so here I'm using my Quad Draw tool to try some edge flow on a humanoid body.

I've decided that a humanoid body was a bit too... human, so here I'm trying something new, a kitbash from this anatomy set that I downloaded on Sketchfab.

Further detail was added until I had a shape I was happy with, I did deform several muscles and bones to get this result, but I'm really happy with my creature

I added muscles to the limbs, as well as adding ribs to the chest to make my creature have a slightly more realistic anatomy (I'm no anatomy expert, I just did what kind of made sense shape-wise)
